Die FemoCo 2013 ist eine „Gemeinsame Konferenz zu Feminismen of Color in Deutschland“ von und für uns.

 „Von und für uns“, das sind alle Frauen, Trans* und Inter*, die sich als Schwarze, of Color, als jüdisch, muslimisch, im Exil lebend, als Sinti und Roma oder als Migrant_in verstehen.

Die Konferenz findet am 07. und 08. September in den Räumen der Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung e.V. in der Schumannstraße 8 in 10117 Berlin statt.

„Black Womanhood Reloaded 2013 – The 10 Commandments of Afro‐Futurism“

Abschlussarbeit für die Ausbildung zur „Diversity Koordinator_in für Berliner Institutionen und Zivilgsellschaft“
(Durchgeführt vom Berliner Senat und der Landeszentrale für politische Bildung)

Die Ausstellung Black Womanhood Reloaded 2013 ist eine interkulturelle Reihe, die die Rolle der Schwarzen Frau im Prozess des Selbst-Empowernments nach Kolonialismus, Sklaverei und  Sexismus thematisiert. Frau Küppers‐Adebisi (Dipl. Wirt. Ing.) hat für das Projekt Berliner, Deutsche, Afropäische und Black Frauen weltweit zu Themen der Identität befragt.

Die Ausstellung bietet einen kurzen Einblick in die anstehende Buchpublikation für die 100 Schwarze Frauen, Afrikanerinnen und Afrikanische Diaspora weltweit ihr Feedback zu Bereichen von Promi, über Akademie, bis Kunst und Street ihre Spontan-Reaktionen ihr Feedback eingesandt haben.

Herausgekommen sind dabei 100 teilweise sehr persönliche Gegenwarts‐Positionen Schwarzer Frauen, die einander im Zusammenspiel kommentieren und ein komplexes Bild Schwarzer Weiblichkeit im 21 Jahrhundert skizzieren.

Afrofuturismus
Mit dem Begriff Afrofuturismus lassen sich Interventionen schwarzer Subjekte im historisch „weiß“ besetzen Raum benennen. Allen Hindernissen zum Trotz haben die auralen, literarischen, visuellen und performativen Kulturen des Black Atlantic (Paul Gilroy) Traditionen hervorgebracht, die sich auf die Schnittstelle von schwarzer Kultur und SF berufen.

Historischen Erfahrung schwarzer Subjekte im Zusammenhang mit SF-Szenarien (Aliens, Roboter, Cyborgs & extraterritoriale Invasoren) verweisen auf Verschleppung, Migration, Knechtschaft, Subjektivität und (Post-) Humanismus. Der Mensch als Schlüsselkonstruktion der Moderne bildet die Grundlage afrofuturistischen Denkens und Handelns.

Die Protagonist_innen kommen aus aus dem internationalem Netzwerk von AFROTAK TV cyberNomads.
