URBAN VOICES is a series of programs that will explore urban life using poetry, theatre, rap,
music and dance. The topics will range from education, the work situation, gender aspects, sexism, racism, war, prison, and health care, family life, integration. The things we think are important in life.
The „Urban Art Ensemble“ is a international group of performing artists. The group attempts to
eliminate divisions within the artistic world. By combining experienced artists with young novice
artists the group has created a mentoring system which will allow the younger ones to learn and
grow from the older more experience artist. The group changes all the time according to what is
needed for the current event. UAE uses universal performing and visual arts to get across their ideas.
